This was an unusual request but a lot of fun – I photographed (and met!) the subject before I painted it. I used a painterly technique to give the background a camouflage look. This felt appropriate for a baby deer trying to blend into their surroundings. Baby deer; 12″ x 9″ watercolor on paper.
